Terms of Use

Last updated:

These terms apply to the client information, download links, JSON configuration guides, and tutorials provided by V2Ray Index. Review their scope and liability limits before using these resources.

1. About This Site and Scope

V2Ray Index compiles publicly available technical information about v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and related cores. The content is for educational reference only and does not constitute legal advice, a promise of network service, or deployment guidance for any specific environment. This site is not the official website of these open-source projects, nor does providing information or download links make it an authorized representative of any project.

Interface labels, configuration fields, and instructions in the documentation may change as clients and cores are updated. Examples explain configuration structures and workflows; they may not apply to every device. Before changing settings, check your software version, system permissions, and existing configuration. If you cannot confirm that an instruction applies to your setup, do not proceed.

2. Legal Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and in any jurisdiction relevant to your activities, as well as the rules governing your network, devices, and services. You must not use this site's resources or related software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized access to, theft of, or distribution of others' data; intellectual property infringement; or disruption of systems.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to use the devices, networks, and accounts you configure, and for determining whether third-party subscriptions, servers, and service providers are lawful and suitable for your needs. Subscription URLs may contain access credentials and should not be shared publicly. Remove account details and other sensitive information before submitting a support request.

This site does not sell proxy nodes, subscriptions, or network access services. Installing a client, importing a subscription, and configuring routing are separate steps. Successfully installing a client does not grant access to any third-party service.

3. Software Sources and Liability

The relevant open-source projects provide their own software. Features, compatibility, license terms, and update schedules are determined by each project's actual releases. Information and instructions on this site do not replace the software's own license terms and are not a warranty of any third-party software or service.

To the extent permitted by law, this site does not guarantee that its information will always be accurate, complete, or available, or that download links, client features, or third-party services will work on any particular device or network. This site makes no warranty and accepts no liability for connection failures, data loss, or other losses caused by software defects, system differences, configuration errors, network outages, or third-party actions.

Before changing configurations, upgrading software, or adjusting system proxy settings, save any necessary original settings and back up your data. These liability limitations do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor do they affect your statutory rights.

4. Intellectual Property and Content Use

All rights to the clients, cores, project names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Open-source licensing does not waive those rights. When using, modifying, or distributing software, you must follow the applicable open-source license requirements for copyright notices, source code, and redistribution. These terms do not replace or extend those licenses.

Text and page content independently created by this site are protected by applicable law. When quoting this content, credit the source and preserve necessary context. Do not edit or excerpt it in a way that falsely suggests this site is authorized by, partnered with, or endorsed by a project. Check the applicable permissions separately before reusing third-party materials.

5. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

These terms may be revised as the site's content, services, or applicable laws change. Updated terms will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be revised. Significant changes affecting users' rights or responsibilities will be noted here. Unless otherwise stated, revisions apply to use after publication and do not retroactively alter rights or obligations already established under applicable law.

If you do not accept the revised terms, stop using the relevant resources and features. For help with using the site, see the Help Center or Getting Started guide. For questions about a specific software license, refer to the license provided with that project's software.
